Nuclear Throne is a top-down roguelike shooter. It is the first official game in the series, which was developed by Nuclear Throne series creator Koji Uchima.
The game was released for free on Google Play and has been played more than two million times. The game was also made available for Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch.
The game is set in a post-apocalyptic universe, where mankind has been destroyed, and only the elite are left. The survivors have mutated into different species. The elite are called "the Chosen Ones", and only they are fit to rule the world.
Gameplay
Each level is a top-down view of the environment, where the player is the last survivor. The player is the elite, and the world is their home. They have to fight through enemies and bosses, which can be different enemy types. At each level, the player will be faced with the same enemies and bosses.
The game has five chapters, with each chapter having a boss. In each level, the player can find items and weapons. Some of the items are available as a loot, while others are not. The player can use these items to fight the enemies and bosses.
