The world is devastated by a sudden nuclear attack. The only thing that remains is a desert wasteland filled with dangerous mutants and monster. It is here where the game begins. Players will take control of one of the many mutated characters and begin their journey to find the legendary Nuclear Throne. Along the way, they will encounter various challenges, including enemies and obstacles. However, they can also find many useful items, such as health packs, ammunition, and weapons.
Players can also unlock achievements and daily and weekly missions. These missions have different objectives and usually require the player to fight against enemies or collect items. Some of the missions also require the player to complete a specific task, such as killing a certain number of enemies or finding a specific item.
